About the Role:
As IFC Assistant Director, you will be helping St. Olaf students develop a passion for public affairs and a commitment to the exchange of ideas. You will collaborate with the IFC Director and the St. Olaf community to develop programming, plan events, and work with students. If you are interested in public affairs and promoting constructive dialogue about issues, this could be the ideal job for you!
What You’ll Do:
● Work with St. Olaf faculty and staff to develop programming
● Serve as a liaison between the Institute and public affairs centers in the non-profit, government, and business arenas
● Help advertise and market public events
● Engage students in politics and public affairs
● Manage and analyze the IFC budget
● Develop Student Associate program

Education: A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in higher education, business, or government, with knowledge of current academic issues in higher education and interest in public affairs, or relevant experience.

Education: An MA, JD, or PhD in a relevant field, 5+ years of experience in higher education, and experience in public affairs.
