About the Role:

Do you have an interest in working in a collegiate setting supporting students with their transition through housing and learning to be independent? What You’ll Do:

• Develop, maintain and provide directions on the housing operation system and ensure periodic auditing of the system.
• Create the timeline of the housing application timeline and placement of students by identified categories with the direction and support of the position’s respective supervisor.
• Serve as a liaison for other operational areas day-to-day logistics while supporting supervisor with forecasting and supporting the master plan in the following areas:
  • Facilities/Sustainability
  • Events/Summer Housing/Guest Housing/Summer Conferences
  • Information Technology
  • Environmental Health & Safety
• The position supports emergency response and the leadership on-call that supports the on-campus living experience.
• This position will serve as the second-in-command to the Associate Dean of Students
• The position will have supervision of a student staff lead and student staff team to provide in the field support.

Who You Are:

You’re a great fit if you have:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree; maintain a valid driver’s license and meet St. Olaf College driver authorization with a satisfactory driving record

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience; 1+ year operations, logistics, programming and/or event planning experience

A helpful background includes:
Education: A master’s degree in student personnel or related field

Experience: 2+ years of residential live-in experience; 3 + years of operations, logistics, programming and/or event planning experience

Skills and attributes we’d like for you to have:
