About the Role:
At St. Olaf, you will be working alongside a dedicated team that brings their passion and pride to everything that they do. Your job will be to work collaboratively with the Director of Athletic Performance to provide the department with a high level athletic performance plan for an assigned number of our 26 varsity programs and 550 student athletes. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and passionate in Athletic Performance/Strength & Conditioning and will continue to enhance the profession and boost the overall athleticism and wellness of our student athletes.
We are looking for someone who would be able to join the team right away. This position will work during the summer of 2022 and have every June and July off beginning in the summer of 2023.
What You’ll Do:
Create innovative and sport specific training programs for assigned varsity teams.
Offer instruction and coaching to advance the performance of each athlete
Serve as a mentor and guide for student athletes
Work collaboratively with Director of Athletic Performance and assigned sport coaches
Schedule team training sessions
Who You Are:
What you need:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; maintain a valid driver’s license and meet St. Olaf College driver authorization criteria with a satisfactory driving record
CSCCA Strength & Conditioning Coach certified (SCCC) or NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
2+ years of strength and conditioning experience in either a professional, school, club or clinic setting
Preferred qualifications include:
Professional or college level strength and conditioning coaching experience
Competitive – Championship Driven

High Character - Honest, Dedicated, & Passionate
Strong Communication Skills
